1-Get A Custom Fitting. It is a fact: Every golfer's swing is different. We each have our own stance, speed, angles, abilities, and power. It could be that unbeknownst to you, you pull the club with your non-dominant hand when you are swinging. Maybe your stance is on unequal footing, and you put more weight on one side than another.

Every golfer has their own problems, and there are solutions to overcome them. As with any changes, however, recognition is the first step. A normal custom fitting includes videos of the golfer's swing in slow motion in order to identify the minute details that the natural eye may miss. It may cost a little bit, but in the long run, it may be worth it.

2-Tee Higher. One common mistake among amateurs is teeing the ball lower than they should. This is a simple tip to try, but it can make a world of difference. Teeing the ball a bit higher than you normally would can increase the lift the ball gets and improve your distance. 

3-Try A Different Type Of Golf Ball. Golf balls are not created equal. Each ball and brand have a specific weight and is technically crafted for a specific purpose. Some balls are weighted to go a further distance, while others are balanced to help with putting. While most golfers tend to stick to one specific type of ball out of loyalty, it is possible to find a different weight or specialty within the same brand. Switch it up a little bit in order to get gains. 

4-Get New Grips. If you have been trying to improve your game over years, it is probably time to switch up your grips. Much depends on your grip on the clubs, and if your hands are slipping mid swing, that ball is not going to go where you want it to. A simple investment of new grips could add yards to your game as well as better your putts.
